Joshua Schachter is a well-known and respected early stage investor, and has made angel commitments to over 200 companies. Previously, he founded Tasty Labs, which was acquired by Walmart, after spending two years at Google. Before Google, Joshua was the founder of Delicious, the internet startup that invented tagging and social bookmarking. Delicious was sold to Yahoo! where Joshua worked for 3 years subsequent to the acquisition. Joshua began his career on Wall Street spending 10 years with Montgomery Securities and then at Morgan Stanley as a quant in their Equity Trading Lab.
In 2006, Joshua was selected by MIT Technology Review as one of the top 35 innovators in the world under the age of 35. Joshua is passionate about the intersection of technology and art, and his work has been featured internationally. HBO brought him in as aconsultant for the acclaimed series “Silicon Valley”.
