Joseph Nguthiru is an environmental engineer and social entrepreneur passionate about sustainable technology and transforming livelihoods through positive impact. He is the co-founder of M-Situ, a Kenyan-based startup that uses AI as an early warning system to detect deforestation, wildfires, and charcoal burning. Nguthiru is a United Nations Environment Programme Young Champion of the Earth, an Obama Foundation Leader, and part of 40 under 40 Africa.
