Jae Won Kim

Jae Won Kim is the CEO of Elice, Inc., a leader in AI-driven educational solutions. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Waterloo and has held roles at AMD, Apple Canada, NVIDIA, and TELUS. Following his graduation, Jae Won Kim researched at the AI Lab at KAIST, where he developed a large-scale educational platform, later founding Elice in 2015.

Elice offers cutting-edge SaaS solutions, including ‘Elice LXP,’ a cloud-based platform providing personalized virtual practice spaces, and ‘Elice Cloud,’ an AI-driven service designed to support AI transformation for enterprises, schools, and governments.

Under his leadership, Elice developed ‘AI Helpy,’ an AI model tailored to understand Korean culture and language, enhancing educational platforms while reducing generative AI hallucinations. AI Helpy is now used in AI-powered digital textbooks in Korean schools, enabling dynamic student interactions and fostering active learning.

Jae Won Kim also led the development of ‘Elice Cloud,’ a high-performance AI infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable data management. Elice AI solutions now serve over 7,000 institutions, expanding to Japan, Southeast Asia, the U.S., and beyond, making a significant global impact on education.
