Ibrahima Gaye

Ibrahima Gaye is a seasoned IT and telecommunications expert with over two decades of experience leading complex digital transformation projects across Africa and internationally. A specialist in OSS/BSS and intelligent networks, he holds engineering degrees in computer science and electrical engineering, and has directed large-scale technology deployments for operators including Orange (Senegal, Mali, Congo) and Air Senegal. Most recently, as a Consultant Expert in Information Systems for the UNDP in Dakar, he spearheaded the digitization of Senegal’s judicial services.
As co-founder & CTO of ILIUM Technologies, Ibrahima co-leads AI VillageOS — an AI platform that treats a rural village as a single, interconnected economic system, bringing integrated intelligence to water use, crop health, yield forecasting, and cooperative planning to build climate resilience for smallholder farming communities in Northern Senegal. He is driven by a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex problems and improve lives, and works fluently across multilingual, multicultural environments (French, English, and Arabic).
