H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Asiedu ANTWI

His Excellency Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Asiedu Antwi is Ghana’s Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and Permanent Representative to the UN Office and other International Organisations in Geneva.

 

Amb. Emmanuel Antwi is a seasoned Career Diplomat with over 25 years’ experience in the Ghana Foreign Service. Until his appointment as Ambassador and Permanent Representative in Geneva in July 2022, he was Ambassador In-Situ and the Chief of Protocol at Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration [MFA&RI] from December 2020. He also served, on secondment, as a Director at the State Protocol Department with special responsibility for the Office of the Vice President from 2013 to 2017

 

As a Foreign Service Officer, he has served in different capacities in various Ghana Missions abroad. He was Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Ghana in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire; Minister-Counsellor at the Ghana High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Counsellor at the Ghana High Commission in London, United Kingdom.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and History from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, and a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from the Legon Center for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD), University of Ghana.

 

Amb. Emmanuel Antwi is married with two adult children. He enjoys reading, watching football, gardening and cooking.
