H.E. Coly Seck

H.E. Coly Seck, the new President of the Human Rights Council, has been the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Senegal to the European Office of the United Nations since October 2016.

Coly Seck, has been Director of the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Senegal since November 2012. From February 2012 to October 2012, he was the Director of International Organizations in Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From January 2011 to January 2012, he was the Director of the Africa/Asia Division in the same Ministry.

Coly Seck served at the Mission of Senegal at United Nations Headquarters in New York from November 2004 to December 2010, where he was responsible for the political division, disarmament, peace and international security.

Born on April 18, 1973, this senior official of Foreign Affairs native of Thiès is married and father of three children.
