Fidelis Ikechukwu Onah
Engr Dr. Fidelis Ikechukwu Onah is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineering, Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineering. Dr Onah has an Ordinary National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, and a Master of Science degree with First Class Honours from the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics, Moscow, Russia (USSR), a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, from the University of Lagos, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree PhD, in Electronic Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Dr Onah worked with Data Sciences Nigeria Limited, and later joined the services of the Nigerian Communications Commission serving in various capacities, in the Spectrum Administration Department heading the Spectrum Planning and Licensing Unit and later the Spectrum Monitoring, Coordination and Interference Resolution Unit. He headed the Human Capital and Infrastructure Group and Special Projects as the Director and later the Department of Technical Standards and Network Integrity also as the Director. He represented the Commission in several technical Committees both within and outside the Country. He is researching in different topics of the Electronics Engineering and he has published several technical papers and delivered several technical papers in Conferences and workshops.
He is presently a Senior Lecturer at the Veritas University, Abuja in the Dept of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.
