Felix Rank

Felix Rank co-founded the German Forum for Ethical Machine Decision Making (EME), a a think tank for the responsible use of algorithms and Artificial Intelligence. In EME, leading experts from business, politics and science shape the ethical guidelines of the future in dealing with machine-aided decisions. The focus lies on promoting general awareness and creating transparency and understanding of the pitfalls in the use of artificial intelligence. Felix regularly gives keynotes and engages in policy discussions with stakeholders on a German and European level.

Out of EME, the idea to connect youth in AI and give their voices more gravitas in global discussions was born in 2023. Since 2025 we form part of ITU’s AI for Good Initiative as the Young AI Leaders | Munich Hub.

Felix is Practice Lead Machine Learning at a consultancy and Data Governance Expert at a leading insurance company in Munich.
In the World Economic Forum’s community, Felix is member of the WEF Expert Network, Global Shaper Alumnus, WEF Agenda Contributor and Co-Curator for the Strategic Intelligence platform on the topics “Future of Work” and “Education & Skills”.
