Eva Gubern

Eva is an engineer by training with over 20 years of experience leading healthcare teams across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. She has built and scaled organizations in both emerging and developed markets, consistently operating at the intersection of innovation and impact. Her career began in global health, where she partnered with the private sector, NGOs, and multilateral institutions to raise over $10 million and launch sub-Saharan Africa’s first cancer care center, a feat that reflects her ability to focus resources and raise commitment to equitable innovation.

At a biotech startup, she led market transformations across Asia, pioneering the use of machine learning to accelerate access to lifesaving therapies, and played a pivotal role in the company’s evolution into an enterprise leader, culminating in the largest M&A deal in pharmaceutical history. At Johnson & Johnson Mexico, she oversaw a $250M operation, navigating complex regulatory and procurement landscapes to expand access to breakthrough treatments for vulnerable populations.

Now as CEO of Predictheon, Eva is harnessing AI to advance the next frontier of global health equity. The company’s real-time analytics platform helps surgical teams reduce complications, optimize resources, and improve patient outcomes. But Predictheon’s vision goes further: to enable hospitals and governments to make data-informed decisions about when, where, and how care is delivered. By embedding predictive intelligence into clinical systems, Predictheon is building the foundation for more resilient, efficient, and inclusive healthcare, showing how human centered AI can drive measurable progress for the global public good.
