Dora Kaufman

Professor in the Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design Program (TIDD) at PUC-SP. Post-doctorate in Production Engineering from COPPE/UFRJ and from TIDD/PUC-SP. PhD in Communication Sciences from the São Paulo University/USP with an Internship Program at Université Paris-Sorbonne IV. MS in Communication and Semiotics from PUC-SP. BA in Economics from PUC-RJ. Over 30 years of professional experience working in financial institutions and as managing partner for promotional/digital communication agencies. Visiting Researcher in the Computer Science Department at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences/NYU (2009-2010) and Visiting Researcher at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society, Berlin/Germany (2015). Visiting Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC). Co-author of the book “Network Companies and Consumers: A Study of Collaborative Practices in Brazil” and author of the books “Gulliver’s Awakening: the challenges of companies in digital networks” and “Will artificial intelligence supplant human intelligence?”. Columnist for Época Negócios Magazine in AI. Research interests: social and ethical impacts of artificial intelligence.
