Established by the governments of Switzerland and Malta, DiploFoundation and its initiative, the Geneva Internet Platform (GIP), are central to Geneva’s digital governance landscape. For over two decades, we have been helping countries, especially small and developing states, shape their digital future and play an active role in global governance.

Advancing AI and digital policy in international Geneva:
AI for diplomacy and global governance: Our DiploAI tools combine artificial intelligence with deep policy expertise to support diplomats and policymakers in drafting, negotiation, reporting, and analysis, enhancing critical thinking rather than replacing it.

Developing future-ready skills: For over 20 years, we have built the capacity of diplomats, policymakers, and technical communities through our online courses, workshops, simulations, and our pioneering AI apprenticeship program, tailored to keep pace with the development of AI.

A neutral hub for digital dialogue: Through the Geneva Internet Platform (GIP), we provide a trusted space for dialogue and knowledge sharing. Flagship initiatives include the Digital Watch Observatory, which offers real-time policy insights, and the Digital Geneva Atlas, which maps the digital governance landscape of International Geneva.
