Cristal Carreño Huitron

I am an Information Technology student specializing in Multiplatform Software Development, with experience in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Java, as well as in SQL and NoSQL database analysis. I am proficient in frameworks like Angular, Laravel, and Ionic, and I have skills in design tools such as Figma. My passion lies in the development of scalable applications and the implementation of cybersecurity best practices, as I am eager to grow professionally in this field.
I strongly believe in using technology to generate a positive impact on society. Through my career, I aim to develop innovative solutions that improve people’s quality of life by addressing real-world challenges. I am particularly interested in cybersecurity, as I see it as a crucial aspect of modern technological development, ensuring data integrity and user safety.
As part of my achievements, I was the local winner of the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2024, an international competition where I collaborated in developing a web application that analyzes land use and demographic data to identify optimal business locations. Additionally, I received recognition in the Oaxaca Emprende state contest for designing and developing Omeyocan, a video game that preserves and promotes Mexican pre-Hispanic legends and mythology through an interactive and visually appealing experience.
I am always looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge, enhance my skills, and apply my expertise in cybersecurity and innovative software solutions to create meaningful and transformative projects.
