Celia is a Junior Communications and Social Media Officer in the International Telecommunication Union’s AI for Good team. Her role focuses on executing the marketing and communications strategy for the AI for Good Global Summit and its ongoing online programs. Her responsibilities include event promotion, audience engagement through social media and website articles, content creation, and the analysis of engagement metrics to refine strategies. Her work supports the mission to leverage AI and technology for global positive change.

Celia’s background is distinguished by her multilingual and multicultural capabilities. She holds an M.A. in Translation and Specialized multilingual communication from the University of Geneva. Proficient in five languages, she adeptly integrates her linguistic skills into her role. Since joining the AI for Good team in 2022, Celia has developed a keen interest in using AI as a means to overcome communication barriers and promote global collaboration, aligning with her passions for languages, technology, and building international relationships.

Further distinguishing her background, during her undergraduate studies, Celia was an active member of an association dedicated to promoting Hispanic culture. Through organizing and participating in various cultural events, she not only celebrated but also deepened her commitment to fostering understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures. This experience has been instrumental in shaping her approach to global communication and collaboration.
