Senior Policy Advisor / Political Expert on Legal Affairs in the European Parliament, representing the Greens-EFA political group, Anne-Marie’s current position is in the Committee for Legal Affairs, with a particular focus on digital and Intellectual Property regulation (Data Act, AI Act, copyright reform, …) while also working on a variety of legal issues involving EP action. One of her mantras is ‘Make the Green and Digital transitions real!’. For this to happen, she is a proud to be a member of Planet Positive 2030, a global initiative gathering technologists, researchers, academics and policy-makers, that is focused on developing practical paths to achieve a sustainable planet — a Planet Positive future for 2030 and beyond. Anne-Catherine has 15 years experience as a policy-making stakeholder, lawyer and academic researcher in IP and ICT law: Co-founder of the COMMUNIA Association on the Digital Public Domain, Visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute on Intellectual Property and Competition Law in Munich, Policy Officer at the Trans-Atlantic Consumer Dialogue (TACD) in Brussels and Washington D.C., Legal Officer at the French division of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) in Paris.
