Amy Marie Calleja

Amy is a Junior Developer at Merqury Cybersecurity, which works towards bridging the gap between cutting-edge quantum research and real-world cybersecurity needs. She is graduating with a BSc (Honours) in Computer Engineering, where her final project involved implementing an embedded system for Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) post-processing. She will be pursuing an MSc in Computer Science to further her specialisation in cybersecurity.

Amy is also passionate about using technology for societal good, which she pursues in her role as Director for Internal Affairs within the Maltese National Youth Council (KNŻ). She is also an alumna of the Huawei Summer School for Leadership in the Digital Age.
