AI for Remote Healthcare Monitoring

AI for Remote Healthcare Monitoring

Novel sensing technology combined with long term monitoring of health status brings large and complex data to the healthcare ecosystem. In the research lab, the focus is on healthcare monitoring systems that follow the health status of an individual through physical activity level, social behaviours, and environmental factors, for a future where the onset of disease can be continuously and unobtrusively tracked.

The lab develops remote healthcare monitoring solutions, ranging from wearable based healthcare tracking and AI driven predictive models to camera based motion tracking for chronic conditions such as spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, and stroke.
