Abdukodir Khakimov

Dr. Abdukodir Khakimov,  is a Senior Researcher and telecom engineering specialist with over eight years of experience in designing, deploying, and securing advanced communication systems. His work spans mobile networks, edge/cloud platforms, and intelligent orchestration, enabling next-generation technologies such as AI-driven automation, IoT, and autonomous systems. He has led R\&D efforts in 5G/6G systems, sub-terahertz radio technologies, and edge-native computing, with practical deployments in industrial environments demanding high security and resilience. His expertise includes SDN/NFV, MEC integration, and containerized services tailored for mission-critical operations.
Dr. Khakimov’s current research focuses on adaptive models for traffic control and application migration in distributed networks. By combining deep systems knowledge with an applied research mindset, he contributes to the design of future-ready network architectures that are intelligent, scalable, and responsive to real-time demands. In addition to his research, he serves as Chief IT Architect at IONAT Tajikistan, where he leads the development and implementation of the company’s enterprise IT strategy and architecture.
