This is a replay of the session that took place on the Centre Stage during the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland from 8 to 11 July, 2025. In this keynote the CEO of the Raspberry Pi Foundation will explain why young people learning to code is more important than ever in the age of AI. Drawing on the Foundation’s original research and practical work with hundreds of thousands of educators and tens of million students all over the world, Philip will make the case for providing all young people with a foundational knowledge of computer science and explore what it means to be AI literate.
