  • This is a replay of the session that took place on the Centre Stage during the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland from 30 to 31 May, 2024.

Imagine being able to search the internet, create digital art, and operate a robotic arm – with just your thoughts. Long considered sci-fi lore, these abilities are now a reality thanks to implantable brain computer interfaces (BCIs). While only a few dozen people with paralysis and neurological disorders globally have been implanted with a BCI, that number is expected to grow.

In this conversation/live demo, explore how these devices might change the future of embodiment, movement, communication, creativity, and quality of life for people living with disabilities.
