iNaturalist is one of the world’s most popular nature platforms. iNaturalist aims to have conservation impact by connecting the public to nature, generating biodiversity data for science, and facilitating on the ground conservation actions. Machine learning plays an important role in achieving these outcomes as the platform scales. This talk will describe the machine learning models iNaturalist maintains and how they are trained and deployed throughout the platform.

This live event includes a 30-minute networking event hosted on the AI for Good Neural Network. This is your opportunity to ask questions, interact with the panelists and participants and build connections with the AI for Good community.
