    The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) will lead the organization of a thematic workshop titled “Brain-Computer Interface: Technology for Good and Application Cooperation” at the AI for Good Global Summit 2026, hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

    The workshop will focus on advancing brain-computer interface (BCI) technologies for social good, with particular emphasis on responsible innovation, industrial applications, and international collaboration on standards and interoperability. It aims to explore how BCI can contribute to improving quality of life, enhancing accessibility, and addressing global challenges through human-centered technological development.

    The session will bring together leading scholars and industry experts from China, Switzerland, the Republic of Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, India, Singapore, and other countries. Through keynote speeches and two thematic roundtable discussions, participants will engage in in-depth, cross-disciplinary and cross-border dialogue. By fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening international cooperation, the session aims to promote the responsible and sustainable development of BCI technologies at the global level.
