Biodiversity is complex and interconnected. Finding predictable pattern among the noise requires big data analytics, but until recently we have been unable to turn nature into data at sufficient scale to apply these tools. This talk will explore how new technologies such as environmental DNA are now unlocking the world’s biodiversity data layer, enabling the use of AI and machine learning to gain a holistic understanding of how our activities impact the environment.
