Team Singularity

Team Singularity

Team Singularity is made up of two young robotics enthusiasts, Dhruvin Manoj and Atiksh Sahu, guided by their mentor, Manoj Balakumar. Our team name, Singularity, reflects our belief that small ideas, when combined with curiosity, teamwork, and perseverance, can lead to extraordinary breakthroughs.

Our journey began in 5th grade with a shared curiosity about how things work and a passion for building robots. We started with simple ideas, experimenting, making mistakes, and learning along the way. Our journey has been filled with challenges, from broken parts and programming errors to designs and strategies that didn’t work as expected. But every failure taught us something new. We learned to understand what went wrong, improve our designs, and keep trying until we found a better solution.

Over time, our curiosity grew into a passion for solving real world problems through robotics. For the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge, we developed a team of autonomous robots designed to work together on tasks inspired by global health emergencies. After years of learning, experimenting, and countless hours of hard work, winning the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Junior National Championship in India has been our proudest achievement.

We are excited and honoured to represent India at the International Finals in Geneva, carrying forward the same curiosity, teamwork, and determination that started our journey.
