Jochen Gross

Jochen Gross is Head of Sustainability Data Strategy and Architecture at Siemens AG, where he leads the development of data-driven solutions to scale sustainability impact. His work focuses on building robust data foundations and applying advanced analytics and AI enabling the energy transition and advance the shift towards a circular economy.

Previously, he served as Vice President Advanced Analytics at Siemens, driving the adoption of data and AI solutions across business functions. He also held senior roles in Data Analytics for Controlling, Finance Assurance, and Audit, strengthening data-based decision-making and governance.

Jochen started his career in academia as a researcher and Assistant Professor at LMU Munich, holding a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Konstanz. He combines academic rigor with industry experience to bridge strategy and execution in data and AI to drive sustainability impact.
