Hj Zadil Hayat Bin Hj Kassim

Hj Zadil Hayat Bin Hj Kassim is a Chemistry Teacher at Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School under the Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam, and the founder of ChemBuddy Supreme+, an AI-powered personalized learning platform developed to make chemistry education more accessible, engaging, and inclusive for students of different learning abilities and backgrounds.

Originally developed in response to real classroom challenges — particularly to support a visually impaired student facing difficulties accessing chemistry learning resources — ChemBuddy Supreme+ integrates generative AI, adaptive tutoring, accessibility support, virtual simulations, and personalized learning tools for Cambridge O-Level Chemistry education.

Alongside his full-time teaching responsibilities, Hj Zadil independently pursued self-directed studies in artificial intelligence and machine learning, applying these skills directly within classroom environments to improve student learning experiences and accessibility in STEM education.

His interests include inclusive AI, AI-assisted education, accessibility in STEM learning, and practical applications of emerging technologies to support meaningful educational outcomes.
