This is a replay of the session that took place on the Frontier Stage during the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland from 8 to 11 July, 2025. AI holds transformative potential in healthcare, creativity, and public well-being, particularly for underserved populations. In this keynote, Univ.-Prof. Walter Werzowa will present how AI-driven sound and music technologies are not only chartbusting entertainment, they are shaping a new paradigm in accessible, evidence-based health support.
HealthTunes, a non-profit platform developed by Prof. Werzowa, delivers scientifically validated, personalized music-based interventions to support anxiety, sleep disorders, pain, and emotional regulation. With over 7 billion people holding access to mobile devices, AI-powered auditory tools offer a scalable, affordable alternative health modality, especially crucial for underprivileged communities lacking access to traditional care.
Highlighting cross-disciplinary collaborations with institutions such as Rutgers, Harvard, and Cornell, Prof. Werzowa had pioneered how AI facilitated the co-creation of Beethoven’s 10th Symphony, an artistic and technological milestone. This initiative has inspired artists like Robbie Williams, who commissioned Walter an AI-enhanced version of Angels, and Pharrell Williams, who integrated Auditory Beat Stimulation (ABS) to support mental health in his recent release Piece by Piece.
This presentation will explore how music, AI, and neuroscience can converge to democratize health, foster global equity, and harness creative technologies for good, offering a hopeful, evidence-backed vision for AI governance and implementation at scale.
The highlight of this brief keynote is the presentation of the new Angels track, featuring Robbie Williams with an AI infused Pathetique arrangement, and so creating a new discipline: MusicMedicine that meets a Rock Anthem and Classic, all made possible through AI.
