Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Chief Researcher at the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor at the National Research University MIET, Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences “Quantum Technologies”, member of a number of editorial boards of scientific journals and program committees of international and Russian conferences. The main scientific results were obtained in the field of: physics of open quantum systems (bound states in a continuum and related issues, violation of RT symmetry); quantum transport in molecular conductors (a model of a quantum interference transistor with low energy consumption); development of new principles of information processing and transformation based on controlled rearrangement of coherent states of quantum heterostructures; development of band structure engineering methods in semiconductor heterostructures (new types of resonances and states localized on the heterointerface); physics of ordered states in crystals (theory of spontaneous current states); theory of superconductivity (influence of dielectric correlations, Coulomb mechanism of superconductivity). He has published more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
