This is a replay of the session that took place on the Centre Stage during the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland from 8 to 11 July, 2025. This urgent and deeply personal keynote reframes AI as a defining force that can either reinforce global inequality or ignite a new era of liberation. Drawing on a legacy of resistance, it exposes the emerging frontiers of digital power—data, compute, and algorithmic control—arguing that the Global South, rich in data and ingenuity, remains largely invisible in the digital economy.

Through the lens of Amini’s work building sovereign AI infrastructure across the region, the keynote presents a bold and actionable blueprint where AI is rooted in sovereignty, collaboration, and regenerative value and where those historically excluded finally shape the future.
