Anil Rai

Anil Rai is presently the Assistant Director General (ICT) at ICAR Headquarters and Head, Centre for Agricultural Bioinformatics Division at ICAR-IASRI, New Delhi, India. His area of research interests lies in computational biology, statistical modelling, data mining, algorithms development and artificial intelligence (AI). He is a fellow of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences and holds several National awards. Having team leadership in 22 research projects across the country, he is coordinating 113 research institutions, 74 agricultural universities and 731 Farm Science Centers, known as KVKs in India, at present under Digital India Mission. To his credit, he received 26 copyrights on various research outputs and has more than 250 research papers, 13 books/monographs, 11 book chapters and 50 articles and bulletins.
