SAARAS

Stress management is increasingly getting attention these days. Although stress has many contributors, its impact on a persons’ health is evident and shows up in respected assessments such as by Gallup[1]. The idea that sound, in form of music can be utilized a form of therapy was understood from ancient times. We aim to create personalized music therapy by leveraging the advancements in AI, by artful combinations of musical elements in real time, with biofeedback. Once the baseline of music preferences is provided by user, such as genre/language/artist etc, our SAARAS platform will create a recommendation playlist, which will also learn and improve with repeat usage. Based on the recommendations, play engine will slow the beats or accentuate the instrumental effect or remove the vocals or a combination of all. To relay the music over BlueTooth, we have designed tactile sensors which are wearable and safe. Our inbuilt algorithms transform most music into tactile, haptic music in near real time without sacrificing fidelity. We also provide our own library of low frequency tracks which are proven for lowering stress and heartbeat levels. We have filed patents.

Further, accredited studies have shown that accentuating auditory music with haptic vibration can greatly increase music enjoyment and immersion in those with hearing impairments. Hearing loss can make music harder to appreciate as perception of higher frequencies are lost, especially as one ages. Converting music to haptic vibrations can help them to ‘feel the music in their bones’, accentuating the auditory feel.
