Stacey Jeffery

Since January 2017, Stacey Jeffery has been a Senior Researcher at CWI and QuSoft, specializing in quantum algorithms, cryptographic protocols, and models of quantum computation. Prior to this, she was an IQIM Postdoctoral Fellow at Caltech’s Institute for Quantum Information and Matter. Stacey received her PhD in 2014 from the University of Waterloo, where she was affiliated with the Institute for Quantum Computing, supervised by Michele Mosca, and co-advised by Frédéric Magniez. She co-founded WIQD (Women in Quantum Development), a professional network for women in quantum technology, and was a founding editor of the journal *Quantum*. Stacey serves on the steering committee of QCrypt, chairs the steering committee of TQC, and is on the Informatics Advisory board of the Lorentz Center. Additionally, she is a CIFAR Fellow in the Quantum Information Science Program.
