Siddhartha Prakash

Siddhartha Prakash is a development economist with 27 years of international experience leading global health policies, projects and partnerships. Siddhartha has worked for international organizations such as the World Bank, World Trade Organization and World Health Organization, and held senior management positions at several global pharmaceutical companies and consulting firms. Siddhartha has substantive experience in advising governments, industry and NGOs on health policies and managing public private partnerships to strengthen health systems in Asia and Africa. He has led several projects on intellectual property, access to healthcare, digital health, infectious diseases, NCDs and AMR in the environment. Siddhartha is the Founder of Daily Wage Worker Platform, an NGO supporting India’s migrant workers with access to food security, healthcare and livelihoods. He manages the strategic, programmatic, financial and operational leadership of the organization. Siddhartha holds a degree in human geography from University College London and a masters in the economic history of developing countries from the London School of Economics.
