Robots are increasingly present in human-centered environments, in which their social interaction capabilities within small groups become crucial. We present our work on autonomous robots designed to interact and adapt within small groups of varying sizes. Our main focus is on developing robots that can positively influence social group dynamics among humans, such as facilitating equal participation and fostering a sense of belonging during discussions.
