Sanand Sasidharan

Sanand Sasidharan is a Principal Scientist, Natural Language Processing at the GE HealthCare Technology & Innovation Center, where he leads cutting-edge research in natural language

processing and machine learning related to Oncology. With over a decade of experience at GE Global Research, he has contributed significantly to projects involving text analysis on noisy, domain-specific data, open-domain question answering, and semantic reasoning over linked data.

Sanand holds 16 patents and has authored 9 research papers in the domain of Artificial Intelligence, underscoring his deep expertise and innovative contributions to the field. His academic background in computer vision and electronics engineering supports his ability to bridge theoretical AI concepts with practical healthcare applications. His recent work in oncology reflects a deep interest in using technology to improve patient outcomes and streamline clinical workflows.
