Rubiela Gaspar Clavo

Rubiela Gaspar is a Peruvian Lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, with a specialization in constitutional justice from the University of Pisa, Italy.

She has been a research intern at the Observatory of the Inter-American Human Rights System of the Institute of Legal Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), a fellow of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights in the case section, and a collaborator of the Constitutional Court of Peru, for more than three years. She has also been part of the first-place winning team of the Anti-Bias World Challenge 2024, organized by Theodora AI, to eliminate bias in AI systems.

She is currently legal coordinator of public policy at Hiperderecho, where she analyses and contributes on issues related to the protection of personal data, AI regulatory frameworks, freedom of expression, among other issues related to the intersection between technology and human rights.
