Ria Rustagi is a visionary entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of Neuphony, a pioneering neurotech company. Her journey into the world of brain health and neurofeedback technology is deeply personal and driven by a family health crisis. Ria’s sister was diagnosed with a brain infection, an experience that fueled her passion for creating accessible brain health solutions. 

Ria co-founded Neuphony with her husband, Bhavya Madan, who serves as the CTO. Together, they have leveraged their expertise and dedication to revolutionize the field of brain health. Neuphony, often dubbed as the “smartwatch for your brain,” offers cutting-edge EEG devices and personalized brain training regimens, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma around mental health issues. 

Ria Rustagi has an impressive educational background that has laid the foundation for her entrepreneurial journey in the neurotech industry. She holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore and another MSc degree from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Germany. These prestigious institutions provided Ria with a strong academic foundation in technology and innovation, equipping her with the knowledge and skills essential for her role as the co-founder and CEO of Neuphony. Her education has been instrumental in driving the development and success of Neuphony’s advanced neurofeedback and brain health solutions. 

Ria lived in Germany for seven years, where she gained valuable industry experience working at Infineon Technologies as a Physical Design Engineer for the automotive industry. Her role at Infineon involved working on cutting-edge automotive technologies, further honing her technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
