MyoHaptic

MyoHaptic

MyoHaptic is an AI-powered rehabilitation device designed to help people with Phantom Limb Pain (PLP) and other sensorimotor impairments.

Phantom Limb Pain is a debilitating condition that affects millions of people worldwide. MyoHaptic reads muscle signals from the residual limb and uses artificial intelligence to recognize the movement the person is trying to make with the phantom limb. The device then turns that intention into real-time visual feedback through virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR), and tactile feedback through haptic displays, allowing the user to see and feel the training as it happens. This supports motor training, sensory training, and biofeedback to reduce PLP and improve control and function. NeuroRehab Technologies developed MyoHaptic as part of its mission as a social purpose company to help eradicate PLP worldwide and make effective treatment accessible, including in low-income countries.
