Kaythry Pandurangan

Dr. Kaythry Pandurangan is an Associate Professor at Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Chennai, India, with over two decades of experience in teaching and research. Her work focuses on 5G and beyond wireless systems, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), Data Security, and AI-enabled communication frameworks.

She is a mentor and researcher at SSN’s 5G Use-Case Lab, supported by India’s Department of Telecommunications (DoT), and has been actively involved in the ITU AI for Good – 5G/6G Sandbox Challenge, Build-o-thon where her team won the Best Student Participant Team Award, and she was honored with the Best Mentor Award, respectively.

Two of her AI-based problem statements were shortlisted for inclusion in the AI for Good Global Summit 2025 official report:

· Environment-Based Endurance Testing in Autonomous Vehicles

· Spatio-Temporal Microclimate Prediction Using Deep Learning

A frequent contributor to international events such as the India Mobile Congress and ITU WTSA-24, Dr. Kaythry champions inclusive, AI-driven digital transformation. Her mentorship spans technical innovation, social impact, and youth engagement in emerging technologies.

She is also a recipient of the Best National Service Sscheme Programme Officer Award from Anna University and the Tamil Nadu Government, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and community service.
