Jamie Hodsdon

Since completing his MSc at Edinburgh, Jamie Hodsdon has worked in Parliament and as a Communications and Research Officer for the Department for Education. He is currently a Senior Policy Advisor for the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, spread across the Department for Transport and Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy.

Jamie is the lead official for the Law Commissions’ three year review of UK driving legislation for the safe introduction of automated vehicles (AVs) and leads the work on the UK Government’s approach to AV ethics, accessibility, and digital road rules. Jamie is also responsible for the Code of Practice for trialling automated vehicles.
