Hong-Chuan Yang

Hong-Chuan Yang received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA, in 2003. Since then, Dr. Yang has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Victoria, Victoria, B.C., Canada, where he is now a professor. His current research focuses on the design and analysis of intelligent wireless transmission systems for the advanced Internet of Things. He is also interested in customizing advanced AI/ML models for trustworthy solutions to societal challenges. Dr. Yang has published over 270 referred journal and conference papers. He is the author of Introduction of Digital Wireless Communications by IET Press and the co-author of Advanced Wireless Transmission Technologies and Order Statistics in Wireless Communications by Cambridge University Press. He is a registered professional engineer (P. Eng.) in British Columbia, Canada.
