H.E. Mr. Vladimir Cuc

Vladimir Cuc is an experienced Moldovan diplomat currently serving as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Moldova to Geneva. Prior to this role, he was State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration from August 2021, where he played a key role in advancing Moldova’s European agenda.

Mr. Cuc has held various leadership roles within the Ministry, including Director of the European Integration Directorate (2020–2021) and Head of the OSCE and International Security Division (2010–2015). Earlier, he served as First Secretary in the International Security General Directorate (2004–2007). In these positions, he contributed to the Transnistrian conflict resolution process and worked to deepen Moldova’s bilateral relations and European integration.

His diplomatic service abroad includes postings as Minister-Counselor at Moldova’s Mission to the European Union in Brussels (2015–2018) and as Second Secretary, First Secretary, and Counselor at the Permanent Delegation to the OSCE in Vienna (2007–2010), where he also served as Charge d’Affaires from 2009 to 2010.

Throughout his career, Mr. Cuc has demonstrated a strong commitment to multilateral diplomacy, international security and Moldova’s integration with the European Union.
