Francesca Aurora Sacchi

Specialized in AI applied to medicine, I am a Member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine in Italy, actively promoting the adoption of responsible AI in my country, and Global Science Policy Coordinator for the multinational pharmaceutical company Sanofi.

Based in Boston (USA), I specialise in the analysis of public policy issues affecting biopharmaceutical research and development, and work on advocacy and corporate position development on key policy issues. Topics of expertise include healthcare data management, issues related to the use of artificial intelligence, and bioethics, especially with regard to emerging technologies.

In the past, I worked as a consultant for Public Affairs and Government Affairs in the pharmaceutical sector (assisting six of the ten most important pharmaceutical companies in the world by turnover) and I have been a legislative consultant for the President of the Parliamentary Intergroup on Artificial Intelligence and for other deputies and senators of the Italian Republic.

Graduated in Law from Bocconi University (Italy), I obtained a master’s degree in parliamentary law from La Sapienza University in Rome and I am currenlty pursuing a Master of Public Health at Monroe’s University.
