Eric Kern is a pioneering technologist and innovator with over three decades of experience in developing transformative technologies. As Chief Engineer at The Scott-Morgan Foundation, he leads the technical development of agentic AI solutions that restore agency and identity to individuals with severe disabilities. His expertise spans software development, agentic AI and cloud computing, with a particular focus on the ethical implementation of emerging technologies.

As a Distinguished Engineer, Kern translates strategic vision into technical reality, architecting the open standards and interoperable frameworks that enable fragmented assistive technologies to work as unified ecosystems for global scalability. Throughout his career, Kern has demonstrated exceptional innovation capabilities, having founded 13 successful technology startups and secured more than 125 patents across AI, cloud computing, and hardware architecture domains. His inventions have significantly influenced the evolution of enterprise computing and AI deployment strategies, particularly in areas of scalable infrastructure and human-centered design.

As a Distinguished Engineer, Kern has been instrumental in advancing the field of AI architecture, particularly in areas of AI and high-performance computing.
