Eniko Székely

Enikő works at the intersection of machine learning, AI, and applied science, with experience spanning academia and industry. Her work has focused on developing and applying machine learning and AI methods for real-world problems, with applications in climate, energy, and healthcare.
She has held applied research positions at EPFL and New York University, as well as senior applied roles in industry, working on topics such as spatio-temporal modelling of multi-scale dynamical systems, forecasting, and distributional robustness, with a strong emphasis on climate applications. She holds a PhD in computer science with a focus on machine learning and pattern recognition.
She is an Editor for Environmental Data Science and has served on several committees, including the Climate Informatics Conference.
