Dmitrii Khitrin

Dmitrii is a senior studying Physics at Duke University where he serves as an officer of the Duke Undergraduate Quantum Information Society (DuQIS). He also serves as the President of the Quantum Coalition, a global student-led initiative advancing quantum education and collaboration. 
 
For the past three years, Dmitrii has conducted research in the Brown Lab at Duke focusing on sympathetic cooling of trapped ions and theoretical quantum control. Passionate about both science and exploration, he is also an avid globetrotter having recently visited Iceland, the Czech Republic, Georgia, and Azerbaijan within two weeks
