Angela Long

Dr. Angela Long is a recognized speaker, researcher, and author dedicated to advancing the future of work and learning. She currently serves as Chief Engagement Officer at Tallahassee State College in the United States, leading the College’s strategic plan and President’s Leadership Institute. Previously, she served as Director of Learning, Innovation, and Success for the Florida Department of Education.

She is the former co-editor of the national book series Innovative Ideas for Community Colleges and is the author of the Six Factors theory for supporting nontraditional student success. Dr. Long is currently working on a forthcoming publication focused on how artificial intelligence is transforming education and workforce development.

Dr. Long co-leads the Future Ready Tallahassee initiative in partnership with the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, helping develop a regional roadmap with leaders in education, technology, industry, and business to prepare communities for the future of work.

Dr. Long holds certifications in “Designing the Future of Work” (UNSW Sydney, Australia) and AI Leadership for Community College Professionals (University of Florida). She has participated in three White House summits and serves on the AACC Commission on Research and the advisory board for the Myers-Briggs Company.
