Andrea Dal Zotto

Andrea Dal Zotto is a dedicated statistician with a passion for interpreting data to assess risks and make informed decisions that benefit both organizations and society. Andrea’s academic journey has equipped him with a robust interdisciplinary approach, enabling collaboration with experts across various sectors to solve complex problems and drive collective growth.

Andrea holds an Advanced Postgraduate Programme in Insurance Innovation from Collegio Carlo Alberto, University of Turin, and Polytechnic of Turin, graduating with honors in 2023. Additionally, Andrea earned a High Qualification Certificate in Government and Natural Science with honors. His educational background is further strengthened by a BSc in Mathematics for Finance and Insurance and a Master’s Degree in Statistical and Economic Methods for Decision Making, both from the University of Turin, where he graduated with the highest distinction.

Professionally, Andrea has been contributing to Reale Mutua Assicurazioni since 2023 as part of the Control Actuarial Function within Group Risk Management. In this role, Andrea is responsible for reviewing life technical provisions in Solvency II, including data quality analysis, validation of calculation methodologies, and various analytical tasks.

Prior to this, Andrea served as a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern at Reale Mutua Assicurazioni, where he developed a PowerBI dashboard to analyze and identify anomalies in the sales process.

Andrea’s research experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Collegio Carlo Alberto and the University of Turin, where he supported projects on insurance companies’ risk aversion and consumer welfare in recommendation systems.

His academic and professional endeavors are complemented by a range of courses and workshops, including the School of Politics, D20Leader Project, OpenPMI and the Data Analytics & Green Economy Program.

He is also actively involved in various initiatives, such as serving as Turin hub curator at the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.

Andrea’s personal interests include acting, tennis, books, politics, neuroeconomics, communication, storytelling, psychoanalysis, and padel.
When he’s not crunching numbers, you might find him trying to change the world starting from his loved city, Turin.
