Aishwarya Jadhav

Aishwarya Jadhav is a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Perception at Waymo, where she leads research on Vulnerable Road User (VRU) semantic understanding to enable safer autonomous robo-taxis. Previously, she was part of Tesla’s Autopilot team, where she contributed to foundational AI models powering Full Self-Driving and the Optimus robot. Aishwarya holds a Master’s degree in Computer and Data Science from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), with research centered on multimodal deep learning and vision-based navigation. Her areas of expertise include Computer Vision, Human-Compatible Robotics, and Multimodal and Autonomous AI Systems.

Beyond industry, Aishwarya leads the AI Guide Dog initiative at CMU, developing AI-powered navigation assistance for the visually impaired. She is actively involved in AI for social good, having previously contributed to machine learning research for malaria elimination in Africa in collaboration with Omdena and Zzapp Malaria. Her past roles also include positions as a Machine Learning Engineer at Google Ads and Technical Lead at Morgan Stanley, where she built large-scale financial recommendation systems.
