The AI for Good Global Summit 2026 programme is now live. Get your first look at the innovations you can expect this July in Geneva.
If there is one thing that becomes immediately clear, it’s that AI is no longer a future conversation. It is already reshaping how we build and operate the systems around us.
Across industries, AI is accelerating at a pace few anticipated. Today, 78% of companies worldwide are integrating AI into their operations. At the same time, new forms of AI, from generative systems to increasingly autonomous agents, are transforming how decisions are made, how services are delivered, and how entire sectors function.
From 7 to 10 July 2026, Geneva becomes the world’s capital of AI as the International Telecommunication Union hosts the AI for Good Global Summit at Palexpo, Geneva’s largest exhibition center. Over four days, leaders from government, industry, academia, civil society and the technical community will come together to guide the future of AI.
Taking place back-to-back with the UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance, convened by the United Nations General Assembly and facilitated by UN Secretary-General António Guterres, the week positions Geneva at the intersection of innovation and policy. As countries accelerate strategies on sovereign AI and the diffusion of AI across economies, the need for shared standards, coordination and international dialogue has never been more urgent.
What you’ll experience is not simply a sequence of sessions, but a real-time view into how AI is being applied, across climate systems, healthcare, infrastructure, networks and public services, and what it takes to move from experimentation to real-world deployment.
On one side, AI is unlocking entirely new capabilities. From predicting extreme weather events to enabling more responsive healthcare systems and optimizing food production, AI is already supporting early warning systems, improving diagnostics, and strengthening climate resilience across regions.
As AI systems grow more powerful, questions around trust, AI policy and infrastructure, standards, energy consumption and workforce transformation are moving to the forefront. Data centres alone are expected to significantly increase global energy demand in the coming years, reinforcing the urgency of sustainable AI infrastructure.
This is precisely where the Summit positions itself, not only as a showcase of innovation, but as a platform to address these challenges collectively. Across the programme, this is reflected in a series of interconnected experiences.
High-level multistakeholder dialogues on AI standards and policy will explore frontier issues, from agentic AI security and testing frameworks to misinformation, deepfakes, quantum technologies and the growing demands of AI infrastructure. At the same time, the Summit will host global innovation competitions and awards, including the AI for Good Innovation Factory Grand Finale bring, machine-learning challenges in edge AI and TinyML, and the Robotics Youth Challenge Grand Finale, creating a direct pathway from experimentation to real-world impact.
Beyond the programme, the Summit is expected to feature 50+ exhibitors, transforming the venue into a live demonstration of AI in action. From brain-computer interfaces restoring communication for neurological patients, to AI-powered robotic wheelchairs enabling autonomous mobility, the technologies on display reflect a shift from innovation to integration. You will encounter hand exoskeletons driven by neuromuscular signals, social robots supporting emotional well-being, and autonomous systems designed for humanitarian response.
Across the exhibition floor, technology demos and interactive installations will showcase cutting-edge systems in robotics, embodied AI, geospatial intelligence, autonomous vehicles and quantum technologies, illustrating how AI is moving out of controlled environments and into everyday life.

Alongside the Summit, the ITU Kaleidoscope academic conference will take place from 7 to 9 July 2026, hosted within the AI for Good Global Summit. Under the theme “AI and frontier technologies for good,” it will bring together leaders from academia, industry and government to explore how emerging technologies can be developed and applied responsibly to address complex societal challenges.
The programme will feature academic paper presentations, keynote speeches and sessions across key tracks, including resilient network infrastructures, applications and services, and the broader social, economic and policy dimensions of AI. By addressing the central question: “can frontier technology research drive global good?”, the conference aims to generate actionable insights and shape future research and policy agendas. A dedicated Swiss exhibit will complement the programme, showcasing cutting-edge research and reinforcing Switzerland’s role as a hub for technological excellence and international collaboration.
Showcase your innovation at the local universities exhibition of Kaleidoscope 2026 Projects, prototypes, testbeds, or operational systems that demonstrate how frontier technologies can advance public good, particularly through the evolution, resilience, and accessibility of telecommunications.
Another major evolution in 2026 is the expansion of the Youth Zone.
This year introduces a new dedicated stage alongside the workshops who will run throughout the week, welcoming participants from as young as 10 years old. Alongside this, a strong focus on AI skills and capacity-building will run across the programme, with hands-on training sessions delivered by AI Skills Coalition partners.
AI is already reshaping education, skills and future job markets. By 2030, a significant share of today’s roles will require new competencies linked to AI and digital systems.
Bringing youth directly into the Summit reflects a broader shift. The next generation is not waiting to engage with AI, they are already building, experimenting and questioning how it should be used. Their perspectives are becoming an essential part of how this technology evolves.

A dedicated programme will explore the intersection of AI and the arts, through initiatives such as the AI for Good Film Festival (applications open until 1 May), the Canvas of the Future AI Art Competition (applications open until 29 March), and a series of AI-enabled artistic performances. This year will also feature the premiere of RAISE, a documentary series executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, exploring how AI is already being used to address some of humanity’s most urgent challenges.
At the same time, the Quantum for Good track will offer a forward-looking perspective on quantum information technologies, and their potential to transform industries, economies and societies in the years ahead.
At scale, the Summit continues to grow as a global platform for action.
Last year, over 11,000 participants from 169 countries joined AI for Good and WSIS events, including ministers from 100 countries, more than half representing developing economies. The 2026 edition aims to further strengthen this role, positioning AI for Good as a globally representative platform for dialogue, collaboration and implementation.
With over 1,000 expected speakers, from heads of state and global CEOs to leading AI researchers and innovators, the Summit offers direct access to those shaping how AI is developed, governed and deployed.
Will you explore the exhibition floor, discovering new technologies and solutions? Dive into technical workshops to gain deeper insight into infrastructure, standards and deployment? Or engage directly with the leaders shaping AI policy, investment and innovation?
For those looking to position themselves at the centre of these discussions, Gold and Leaders Passes offer enhanced access, unlocking more direct, high-level interactions and a more immersive experience. Join us in July in Geneva, and be part of the global AI ecosystem coming together under one roof.
