This interactive mini-workshop invites youth stakeholders to participate in a “popcorn-style” rotating panel, sparking peer‑to‑peer dialogue on major emerging trends in AI such as generative AI, education, ethics, and future jobs in a fast‑moving, inclusive way.
    Learning objectives:
    1. Discover the role of the ITU Secretary-General’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB) in monitoring AI trends and be able to explain how the YAB share their AI insights with the ITU Secretary-General.
    2. Discuss and examine current AI trends by articulating which developments most excite or worry them and then consider how these trends are reshaping opportunities and risks for young people.
    3. Reflect on and evaluate their peers’ inputs during the popcorn panel about which AI trends should be prioritised in future YAB AI trend reports to the ITU Secretary-General.
